Banapple, Northeast Square

After attending a tech event at Makati Shangri-La in the morning,  we opt to try the newest Banapple branch  in Greenhills. I've never been to any Banapple store before, but many of my friends really recommended it so I'm eager to try it too! :)

Since it's really hot that day, we take the cab going there. The store is located at Northeast Square at 47 Connecticut St., Northeast Greenhills in San Juan. So if you're coming from EDSA you take right at Connecticut Street before reaching the Greenhills Shopping Center.

Northeast Square reminds me of IL Terrazzo in Tomas Morato. It has the same ambiance and feel, and the place is not that crowded too compared to other. This is the best place to go when you want to unwind without the sight of many people.

Those shiny elevator buttons sure looks and feels like new! =)

This is the only mall that I have been to where the male & female share the same lavatory. It's cute :)

BANAPPLES Pies & Cheesecakes is located at the second level of NorthEast Square. The picture above is the scenario when we're about to leave, but when we arrived earlier we're the only second group at the venue. Which I liked, because I was told that other branch of this store is so crowded, so this is perfect place to go when you want to enjoy Banapples without the long lines =)

The store is quite small but it has a lot to offer. As long as I can remember,  it has four tables inside and two outside. Their tables has this intricate marble designs which are so cute. Banapple has three crew that day and one superior who offered us water as we arrived.

"Do you have Wi-Fi here?", I asked. "No, Sir, wala po, sorry." and that shattered me into pieces. LOL.

the counter area.

 cakes!

those cutesy and bright chandeliers.

There are books at the shelf too, but of course these are for display only.

My other friends ordered the Home Made Iced Tea for P55.00 but me, I ordered this Iced Chocolate for P80.00 with just the right amount of sweetness. The perfect companion to beat the summer heat =)

Then we tried this Baked Creamy Cheesy Penne, priced at P175.00, it's a well loved dish of luscious white cheese sauce and meaty tomato sauce, with al dente penne pasta and sauteed Hungarian sausage, served with pesto bread. It has a perfect mix of cheese and meat!

Up next is the Hickory Smoked Barbecued Country Ribs for P175.00 each order. It has extra tender country ribs grilled in hickory smoke, glazed with our homemade hickory barbecued sauce, served with corn relish and seasoned garlic sauce. This is one of my favorite!

Another favorite is the Lasagna Roll-Ups for P170.00, it has herbed cream and parmesan cheeses fill al dente wide strips, are rolled up, and smothered with their classic tomato meat sauce and mozzarella cheese. Their serving is enough for two people already!

This Chicken Breast Parmigiano sells for P175.00 and has tender fillets of chicken breast encrusted a parmesan crumb mixture topped with a rich stewed tomato meat sauce and mozzarella cubes; served with buttered carrots. I think they should lessen the toppings next time because it's overpowering the taste of chicken =)

Of course visiting Banapple will not be complete without trying their specialty cakes!

Apple Caramel Crumble Pie is P90.00 per slice or P690 for a whole cake of this flavor.

Banoffee Pie retails at P85 or P650 as a whole.

Cherry Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake - P100.00 per slice or P960.00 for the whole cake.

*last week my blog host, Blogger.com experienced an outage which resulted to loss of some blog posts, that's why this post is not yet fully recovered :'( sorry!
