Filipino cuisines is so underrated here in the Philippines and around the world, so it would made me smile if another business ventures would feature Filipino dishes aside from the popular Korean, Japanese, Chinese or even American food.
Travel Channel foodie Andrew Zimmern even believes that Filipino food is going to be the “next big thing” in the US! Filipino cuisines is sooo good I hope more and more foreigners or even Filipinos would appreciate it. I'm glad Filipino businessman would chose to build around a company featuring the wide array of Pinoy food. One of them is Ms. Christine Dayco, the owner of Casa Reyes Bistro Filipino.

Dining for the first time at CASA REYES: Bistro Filipino in its Promenade Greenhills branch is such a happy experience!
Their food is a bit on the pricey side but it will worth your every peso. The ambiance and the interiors of this restaurant is another reason to visit. It's like visiting a museum or an old house from the province.
The place is filled with vintage artifacts that had me looking at them one by one as we wait for our food.
The staffs are courteous and attentive enough and doesn't forget what I ordered considering the fact that we are soo many that morning!
For first timers, I have a lot of cuisines to recommend: Crispy Dinuguan is exciting as it's sounds; Pinakbet Rice with Bagnet is worth the calories; Wagyu Mechado is to die for! But my real favourite is the Sriracha Tomahawk BBQ Chops!
Don't forget to order their Artisanal Pinoy Gelato. I tried their “Chocnuts & Flat Tops” (P110.00) flavor it was soo good it left me wanting for more.
