The weekend “Ocean Surf” buffet is the newest attraction at the Marriott Café of Marriott Hotel Manila. The term ‘Ocean Surf’ is accurate, because every Friday and Saturday, the entire buffet will be filled with lots of fresh seafood just the way you like it. It’s like you just surf in the ocean and ate all those gastronomic goodness!
For fresh starters, you can enjoy a lot of irresistible fresh rock lobster, oyster, clams, shrimps and their seafood salad which became my instant favorite.
Then, you can move on to the hot section and explore the finest seafood selections in all forms and sizes, blanched in sumptuous shell fish broth complemented with delectable dips and sauces. For pasta lovers, let the expert chefs whip up a tasty seafood pasta dish or satiate the palate with certified pasta recipes like stuffed ravioli with shrimps or the homemade tortellini with tuna mousse.
Next, pump up the feast with big slabs of beef and lamb slices from the carving station and other delicious picks you can enjoy from the rotisserie. You can also swing by at the Chinese Station for their authentic dimsums, pork barbeque, marinated chicken, Beijing style duck and be delighted with an aquarium filled with live shrimps.
All of these and more are rounded off with decadent desserts, fruits in season, gushing chocolate fountain, and meticulously mixed Italian ice cream flavors. I recommend you to try the Maracaibo, Mixed Berries, Bailey’s and ‘Palawan Honey Walnut’ ice cream flavors, perfect for the sweet tooth.
To entice you more, I want you see some photo that I took when I tried the buffet :)
