Kusina ng Gerry's -- Harbor Point Subic


Prime Pacific Grill Incorporated (PPGI), operator of popular grill chain Gerry’s Grill, has opened a second “Kusina ng Gerry’s” at the Harbor Point in Subic.

“This is the first branch of Kusina outside Metro Manila at the first shopping mall of Ayala in Olongapo,” adds Apolinario.

A do-it-yourself/fast casual restaurant, PPGI’s progeny opened its first branch at the 3rd level of Lucky Chinatown Mall at Regina Regente Street in Binondo in March this year.

“We hope to reach more markets with the development of more shopping centers around the country,” says Gerry Apolinario, PPGI president and CEO. Harbor Point is owned by property development firm Ayala Land, Inc., a real estate subsidiary of Ayala Corporation.

Kusina’s offers combo meals, as well as, Gerry’s favorites - Kare-Kare, Crispy Pata, Lechon Kawali, and Sisig.

“We want our guests to visit us twice or three times a week because food in Kusina is within their regular budget,” explains Apolinario. Kusina is set to open three more branches - Cagayan de Oro, Imus, Cavite; and Dagupan - before the end of the year.

Gerry’s Grill operates a full restaurant at the Waterfront Road, Subic Freeport Zone in Olongapo. Its 52-branch network includes recent openings in Laog, Zamboanga, and Tacloban, It is set to reopen a branch at the Alabang Town Center on September 16.
