Henry & Sons unveils 'TGC: The Giving Cafe' - A Coffee Shop That Gives Back

Back in 1880, the Philippines was the fourth largest exporter of coffee beans, now we are at 110th. Sad but a true fact, that's why Henry & Sons created The Giving Cafe, the newest social enterprise created for the single purpose of supporting Filipino farmers in Benguet.

A newly-designed brick-and-mortar coffee space in Mandaluyong, The Giving Cafe will serve a special line of blends created exclusively for Henry and Son's Foundation for Sustainable Coffee Excellence, an organization dedicated to bring the Philippines back to the global coffee spotlight through sustainable local coffee farming.

Henry & Sons offers 360-degree coffee solutions tailor-fitted to every challenging demand. From premium coffee roasting, coffee machines and supplies, training and support services, even your own bespoke blend. Every single thing you need to get immersed into the world of coffee and make it your own personal business. Vikings Luxury Buffet actually buys coffee from Henry & Sons.

The Giving Cafe was soft launched on June 28 at its first ever branch located at Sheridan corner Pines Streets in Highway Hills, Mandaluyong. Select bloggers joined the fun latte art session and had a sample of the dishes that TGC is offering. Aside from your coffee favorites like espresso, americano, cortado, latte, mocha, cappuccino to timplado, The Giving Cafe also offers cafe faves like pasta & pesto. The owner highly recommends their Yang Chow Fried Rice, his favorite among all dishes at TGC. They serve mouth-watering Sisig too, definitely a must-try!

The Giving Cafe is a place of comfort designed to be a safe haven for people looking to indulge in coffee experiences served with both excellence and compassion

The most affordable coffee they sell is priced at P95.00 and .95 cents of that goes to the Foundation for coffee farmers with an aim to bring the Philippines back to the global coffee spotlight through sustainable local coffee farming.

"If we can help and inspire La Trinidad, Benguet coffee farmers to better their trade, without a doubt they can help us get our coffee back into the international market by 2018. With your help, we can take our coffee further and make it something special, something we can really be proud of in the next 10 years." said Michael Harris Conlin, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Henry and Sons Manufacturing & Trading Company Inc.

Enjoy your favorite coffee and give back to the community. Indulge in giving! Like them on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/tgcsocialentrep/

  4. The traditional budgeting method was slow since it analyzes your spending after working money, but today's method analyzed ahead of the purchase. The inclination court action as a minimum provocation is on the verge of just as one epidemic. This notion will probably be worth analyzing and qualifying mainly because it has strong policy implications.
