Gerry’s Grill rebrands to a more family-oriented “Gerry’s”

Philippines’ leading grill restaurant, Gerry's Grill will soon be called as “Gerry’s.” The well-known food place will transform into a more family-oriented restaurant and in the coming days, all of their branches will sport the new look — a more inviting, brighter, airy and a well-lit version of Gerry's. This transition is part of their 25th year anniversary!

We had the chance to meet the founder of Gerry's Grill, Sir Gerry Apolinario and he revealed to us his upcoming plans for his chain of restaurants.  Gerry's Grill was opened by Apolinario on February 14, 1997 in its first branch in front of ABS-CBN in Tomas Morato in Quezon City, as a bar where people could hang out after work. The restaurant business rapidly expanded. Later, branches opened in the USA, Singapore, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and more. Gerry's has now 100+ branches worldwide!

 

Gerry’s Grill serves a wide range of grilled dishes like Inihaw na pusit, Inihaw na manok, Blue marlin Steak, Blue Marlin Ribs, Inihaw na liempo, inihaw na Pla-pla, Inihaw na tuna Belly and many more. It also has a wide array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages that will complement your taste. They even offer delicious version of Filipino favorites: halo-halo, mais con yelo, buko pandan and other desserts! 

For 25 years and counting, Gerry’s continues to fulfill Filipinos’ cravings for comfort food through ups and downs, rain or shine, thick or thin. Its legendary food staples remain as centerpieces in celebrations of life and success in every family or group.

With his fondness for good food, Sir Gerry Apolinario opened up a restaurant that shares this passion and provides exemplary service to its clients. Now, the   often dark grill place will transform into a vibrant family-oriented restaurant. 

They did this changes because they found out through research and costumer surveys that their clients go to Gerry's not to drink alcoholic beverages but to dine-in for their homey food and most of their costumers are group of families. 

“Gerry’s” is now a family restaurant, that is better than ever. This is the new look that Apolinario wanted to give their customers from the previous one, which was open air, dim, and a party place. Now the lighting is more inviting, brighter, and air-conditioned. Right now, the emphasis is on family.
