In a nutshell, RECIPES By Cafe Metro is a Filipino/Asian restaurant with a twist. It's like tasting your grandma's homecooked meals with an added flavor! Their interiors are mostly white and feels so clean & expensive, but when you see the prices, it's actually quite affordable.
Gising-Gising - P165.00
Our first try is "Gising Gising" which has a literal translation of "wake-up, wake-up" :) It's a chopped baguio beans with ground pork and coconut milk. Best paired with rice. A sure way to excite your palate. Hint: it's hot.
General's Chicken - P210.00
This is basically a deep fried chicken fillets and eggplant slices with sweet spicy sauce. It doesn't look that appetizing but this is surprisingly good! This actually one of the bestsellers at RECIPES By Cafe Metro.
Crispy Tilapia Escabeche - P220.00
A nice twist to a lunch favorite! The fish is cooked with a perfect crispiness and the sweet-sour sauce is a nice complement for it.

This is my favorite on all the food we tried that day. Well, who will not love this? A generous amount of well-loved lechon kawali on top of fresh & green kangkong. Yey!
