Korea Gangnam Buffet is the first Korean buffet restaurant in San Jose del Monte City and this is their first restaurant in all SM Supermalls owned by Mr. Hwang Young Soo, a 52-year-old educator who also owns a language school for Koreans in Quezon City. The idea of putting up a restaurant started because they are serving Korean and Filipino dishes for their students and teachers.
Samgyeopsal is the specialty of Korea Gangnam Buffet. It is a thick, fatty slices of pork belly meat commonly served as an evening meal. The meat usually neither marinated nor seasoned, it is a grilled meat and typically served with Korean vegetables and lettuce to wrap it in. The restaurant serves different menus everyday with 70 percent Korean, 20 percent Filipino dishes, and 10 percent beverages.
