BUENO MANILA Tapas & Wine Restaurant aims to continue this. They are the the newest Spanish restaurant in town and their first ever branch opens on August 19 at the ground floor of The Grove by Rockwell in Pasig. They plan to open more branches this year and actually targeting The Fort as their next hub.

If the chef looks familiar its because Ken Alfonso is also a Kapuso actor. He recently seen on the local adaptation of Korean TV series, My Love from the Star and in the remake of Encantadia.
This is their second foray in the food business after Garlic and Peppermill, a food delivery service that offers European-Filipino fusion cuisines. Ken studies at Global Culinary Academy and he actually lived a couple months in Spain, particularly in Madrid and Barcelona to know more about Spanish dishes.

House Blended Sangria
For first time visitors of Bueno Manila, I would recommend to try the Paella de Marisco y Pollo (P520.00) which basically is a seafood and chicken paella, Croquetas de Queso Pimiento (P230.00) and their House Blended Sangria. Their dishes starts from P180.00 to P730.00+ which is quite affordable considering the quality of the food that they serve.
So if you love Spanish cuisines, be sure to add Bueno Manila - Tapas & Wine Restaurant on your list. The place has that homey vibe to it, donning the primary color of Spain flag which is red. The chef is also a very hands-on owner and he see to it that everything is in order. Chef Ken Alfonso makes sure that you feel the Madrid dining experience. Overall, dining at Bueno Manila is such a happy experience. We will come back for sure.
