Serving the same homey experience and comfort food of Forget Me Not Café and Restaurant in Marikina, Café Perene located at the Ground Floor of the newly opened Ayala Malls Feliz in Pasig has breakfast available all day! They serve quick bites, pastas, drinks and tempting cakes!
Forget Me Not Café is a homegrown restaurant and a pioneer at the Lilac Food Strip in Marikina. They serves local favorites and homemade specialties. I heard they decided to use a new cafe brand because the previous one has a similar restaurant name. Café Perene actually came from the word, "perennial" which means long lasting and enduring for an infinite time.
This is actually my first time at Ayala Malls Feliz which just open last month, and I haven't tried Forget Me Not Café yet, but I heard good things about it from blogger friends.
Immediately felt the homey ambiance of the restaurant upon entering Café Perene for the very first time. The place is serene and quiet, minus the loud music of other food places. Its a place you want to stay for a long time just to relax, sip a coffee and to have some comfort food. Its well-lit too, so you can bring a book if you want!

I traveled from Caloocan City just to visit Café Perene and it was worth it! For first timer, I would recommend their Flaky Chicken Chop, Roast Beef in Mushroom Sauce, 'Forget Me Not' Burger & Fries, Roast Beef Sandwich, and Double Berry Yogurt which are some of their best sellers. For dessert, you shouldn't miss that irresistible Choco Lava Cake topped with ice cream. I can't wait to go back!
