Started way back in 1995, NACHO KING open their first ever outlet in SM North EDSA. It was an idea of Mike Singh and his best friend Teddy Manotoc. Both borrowed a few thousand dollars from their parents, and they were off.
Today, Nacho King! is a chain of kiosks that has taken snack lovers by storm and is the leading retailer and wholesaler of nachos in the Philippines. Their kiosks can be found in department stores, supermarkets, and schools and their products can also be sourced wholesale.
Upon my first try of Nacho King on their SM North EDSA branch, l immediately notice the freshness of their products. The nachos are always crispy! I tried their best seller, Jumbo Loaded (199.00) cheese nachos with four toppings: Beef, Salsa, Jalapeño and Mushroom. This outlet is well-maintained and the area is squeaky clean so you will be sure of the cleanliness of your food.
Also available in other size: Biggie Loaded (185.00) with 4 toppings, Jumbo Cheesy (99.00), and Biggie Cheesy (85.00) You can also choose from these additional toppings: Beef (P35.00), Salsa, Jalapeño, Mushroom and Cheese for 25 pesos each.
They also sell Flavored Chips (P72.00 for 250 grams) choose from Barbecue, Cheese or Sour Cream flavors. They also offers Plain Chips, P120 for 250 grams!
Probably the greatest secret to their success is their corn chips that start from raw corn kernels. It goes through a 5-step process, from steeping, grinding, sheeting and cutting, baking, cooling, frying, and flavoring.
